ZTE's first major offensive on the mobile market this
year is the ZTE Era, running on a quad-core Tegra 3-powered processor, the ZTE
Era sports a 4.3-inch display screen
with resolution of 960 x 540-pixel qHD pixels. With Android 4.0 Ice Cream
Sandwich as its operating system, this mobile device from ZTE has got 8GB of
internal storage with a micro-SD slot option, thus providing powerful new ways
of communicating and sharing, with easy multitasking, rich notifications and
deep interactivity
The ZTE Era, considered as the strongest smartphone
from the ZTE stable, is just 7.8 millimetres thick and comes equipped with an
NVIDIA Icera 450 HSPA+ modem. It distinctively combines amazing battery life
and outstanding performance with Tegra 3′s unique 4-PLUS-1™ quad-core architecture
with a fifth battery saver core.
There is some good news for ZTE as according to
industry analyst Gartner, ZTE was ranked as the world’s No.4 in terms of
handset shipments in Q4 2011 and ZTE smartphone sales are growing faster than
any other vendor except Apple.
